Coffee and Brain

Blood-Brain Barrier (BBB) protects the central nervous system (CNS) from the rest of the body's circulation, providing the brain with its own regulated microenvironment. BBB leakage occurs in a variety of neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's disease. Researchers found that Caffeine could protect the blood-brain barrier (BBB) from damage that occurs with a high-fat diet, so they suggest us to take a cup of coffee daily.
